The Deputy Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries, Ms Makhotso Sotyu, will host a Forestry stakeholder forum at Drakenstein Local Municipality Chambers in Paarl on 25 September 2019.

The purpose of the meeting is to address concerns from various stakeholders and role-players in the Forestry sector in the Western Cape. Concerns such as protection against risks associated with fires and vandalism will be addressed.

The stakeholder engagement will be followed by a site visit to the Forestry Village.
