Minister Creecy to visit schools in Overberg Municipality

The Minister Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Ms Barbara Creecy will visit schools in the Overberg Municipality, Western Cape, on 19 January 2022.

Minister Creecy will be visiting Hawston Secondary School and Kleinbaai Primary School with the purpose of assessing the readiness of the schools to resume the 2022 academic year.

Public schools in the Western Cape will begin their 2022 academic year, on Wednesday 19 January 2022 and the Department of Basic Education has emphasised that the health and safety of teachers, staff and learners continues to remain a top priority.
